Welcome to the BC Women’s. We are an international, hard-hitting and determined women’s rugby team based in Brussels. On the pitch, we play hard—off it, we bring the party.
‘Am I going to fit in a new team?’ ‘I just moved to Brussels, so I’m not sure.’ ‘I’ve never played rugby, so is it going to be for me?’ Our ladies’ arms are wide open to all players, whether you’re a seasoned pro or completely new to rugby. With our 1st team in D2 and our 2nd team in D4, we will find the perfect spot for you.
Your first three training sessions are free, giving you the perfect chance to experience our team’s atmosphere and our style of training.
Convinced? You’ll register through Twizzit (our app to organize attendance and matches), complete a medical form + check-up for insurance purposes and pay your club fees.

We train every Tuesday & Friday at the VUB rugby pitch (located in front of the tram stop VUB)
Tuesdays: from 19h00 to 21h00Fridays: Alternate starting times. One week, we train 19h30-21h30. The other week from 20h-22h.

Tuesdays/Fridays: Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB) – Main Pitch (via entrance 8) Boulevard du Triomphe 40, 1050 Ixelles

All matches for the ladies’s teams are played on Saturdays.
Home games are played at the VUB Main Pitch.
The season runs from September to May. Preseason starts in August.

Our season ends at the end of May. We will start Preseason in the beginning of August, on Tuesdays and Fridays.
But don’t worry: we will still play rugby during the summer. We host other clubs for Tours, go to rugby tournaments with the team, like Brigandze or Flanders Open Rugby. In June we go on tour with our ladies, to play some rugby and have fun.
VUB Main Campus
Joining & fees
The first 3 training sessions are entirely free – what a bargain! After that or before your first match you will need to complete your medical form with your doctor and pay your registration fee. Payment and medical form are all submitted via your BBRFC Celtic Twizzit account.
The reduced rate applies to students, interns, and unemployed.
