Join the U14 BBRFC Celtic Rugby Squad!

If you join the U14 BBRFC team, you’ll find yourself among a great group of friends who share a love for this strangely shaped ball. Whether it’s the joy of movement in any weather, the thrill of competition, or the pride of improving with every practice, rugby offers something for everyone. No matter your experience or physical ability—if you’re curious, come and give it a try!

We train twice a week—three times when there’s no game on Saturday—under the guidance of a dedicated, international coaching team from France, Belgium, Spain, and England. Our head coach, Mickael, brings his passion for the game “à la Toulousaine”. You’ll recognize him by his athletic build, black beard, and occasional funny hat—and by the incredible effort he makes not to argue with the referees!  

Players compete in league matches in Belgium and Luxembourg, as well as friendlies and tournaments throughout the season. In 2024, the team traveled to Coach Micka’s club Toulouse, where they competed in a tournament, visited the International Space Station, and explored the legendary Stade Toulousain, home to some of France’s greatest rugby heroes.

2025 - 2026 Season

  • Coach(es): Geoffrey Use (Head Coach), Paul Emmett, Michael Tremage, Benjamin Cohen, Edouard Mazarakis, Antoine Roquebert and Milan Jaron (Manager)

  • Year of Birth: 2013 & 2012

  • Training: Every Wednesday evening from 18h30-20h00, and Friday 18h00-19h30 at the VUB (and Saturday mornings when there is no match from 10h30-12h00 at the VUB). Saturday Matches, home or away, are generally from 11h00 warm up and 12h00 – 13h30 match.
