Join the U14 BBRFC Celtic Rugby Squad!

If you join the U14 BBRFC team, you’ll find yourself among a great group of friends who share a love for this strangely shaped ball. Whether it’s the joy of movement in any weather, the thrill of competition, or the pride of improving with every practice, rugby offers something for everyone. No matter your experience or physical ability—if you’re curious, come and give it a try!

We train twice a week—three times when there’s no game on Saturday—under the guidance of a dedicated, international coaching team from France, Belgium, Spain, and England. Our head coach, Mickael, brings his passion for the game “à la Toulousaine”. You’ll recognize him by his athletic build, black beard, and occasional funny hat—and by the incredible effort he makes not to argue with the referees!  

Players compete in league matches in Belgium and Luxembourg, as well as friendlies and tournaments throughout the season. Last year, the team traveled to Coach Micka’s club Toulouse, where they competed in a tournament, visited the International Space Station, and explored the legendary Stade Toulousain, home to some of France’s greatest rugby heroes.

This season, the team will embark on an unforgettable tour to the Czech Republic, traveling by night train to compete at Vyskov Rugby Club over Ascension weekend (May 28 – June 1, 2025). This once-in-a-lifetime experience will take place in the stunning region of Moravia (Brno) and is being expertly organized by U14 Team Manager, Milan Kohari.

  • Coach(es): Mickael Tremege (Head Coach), Benjamin Cohen, Paul Emmett, Roland Hartwell, Ester Martínez, Lucas Poprzen, Antoine Roquebert and Milan Jaron (Manager)

  • Année de naissance : 2012 et 2011

  • Entraînement : Tous les mercredis soirs de 18h30 à 20h00, et les vendredis de 18h00 à 19h30 à la VUB (et les samedis matin lorsqu'il n'y a pas de match de 10h30 à 12h00 à la VUB). Les matchs du samedi, à domicile ou à l'extérieur, se déroulent généralement de 11h00 pour l'échauffement et de 12h00 à 13h30 pour le match.
